  • Ingredients: Serecites, Mica CI 77019, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Magnesium Stearate, Tapioca Starch, Zinc Oxide (+/- CI 77491, CI 77009)
    • Sericite mica plays many roles in cosmetic formulations. It diffuses the appearance of light, giving the skin a more airbrushed appearance and making makeup appear more life-like. It absorbs oil relatively well and helps boost adhesion. It is also used to improve slip and dilute pigments
    • Mica CI 77019 is a safe and non-toxic ingredient for use in cosmetic products because it is derived from natural sources. Makeup with mica has close to no side effects when applied on the skin
    • Caprylic triglyceride is a natural ingredient commonly used in cosmetics. It has skin-smoothing, antioxidant, and can act as a preservative so that the active ingredients in cosmetics last longer
    • Magnesium stearate is a helpful ingredient for many things. It acts as a bulking agent, an anti-caking agent, a colorant, and more. Magnesium stearate is a salt created by the reaction of sodium stearate (the salt of stearic acid, one of the most common saturated fatty acids found in nature) with magnesium sulfate (commonly known as Epsom salt)
    • Tapioca Starch is widely used as thickener and viscosity enhancer in various personal care products.  It is an excellent texturizer in face powders providing smooth and silky velvety feel and can replace talc in formulas
    • Zinc oxide is a white powder known for its protective and purifying properties. It is also known as a UV protective filter, reflecting UVA and UVB rays. In addition, zinc has anti-inflammatory, astringent and drying properties.
