Is this board good for someone advanced and just looking to get from my car to class or from class to class, practice tricks and just be a reliable board that can also be stowed away easily?… YES, all those are good for this board
28" is for those that might want a bit more stability vs 22" might be for those that want compact skateboard so they can put in their back pack or for those that don't want to carry around a larger board. So age is not a factor.. people of all ages ride both boards
